When I was in high school/ college, all of my friends were obsessed with men like Leonardo DiCaprio and Freddie Prinze Jr. I, on the other hand, had MAJOR affections for Jack White.

I got made fun of it all the time and when people would bash both him, and my taste in men, I would play a track from the White Stripes and simply say “tell me a time Freddie Prinze Jr. made a guitar sing like that”.

A decade has passed and my taste in men hasn’t faltered for an instant. Pretty men will always be there, but a man that can bring a hush in a crowd with nothing but talent? Well that, my friends, is a love that will last a lifetime.
